The ADDLYWOOD Alliance (assoc.) is the emerging universal multimedia content capital and cultural creative industry for the African Diaspora, rooted in its origin at the Horn of Africa and emphasizing the enduring significance of The Solomonic Dynasty. It exists to shape the future of film and media by weaving the ancient Ethiopian Azmari tradition of message-telling into the modern digital era.
Inspired by the pioneering legacy of Norman Studios in Jacksonville, Florida—once known in the early 1900s as the original Film Capital of the World and “Hollywood East”—and guided by the vision of The United Kingdoms of Negus, ADDLYWOOD carries forward a sacred lineage of purpose-driven media. During the Jim Crow era and segregation, Norman Studios, founded by Richard Norman, a white filmmaker, operated with an all-Black cast and production team, producing positive and uplifting “race films” that affirmed dignity, courage, and possibility at a time when truth was suppressed. That legacy stands as proof that media, when guided by righteousness, can liberate, restore, and shape generations beyond the boundaries of race or time.
ADDLYWOOD restores this spirit for a new age. The Association stands as a sacred creative alliance for God’s stars—artists, leaders, and visionaries called to be righteous examples in culture as part of the Millennial Reign.
Through truth-based narratives created for education, entertainment, and creative development, ADDLYWOOD upholds integrity, light, and love as the standard. It collaborates with aligned creators and production partners to cultivate a new creative age industry —one that preserves cultural memory, elevates consciousness, and guides the future of global media with purpose.
